Lamex Foods China was formed in 2006 to centralise Group sales and purchases within China. The rapid and significant growth of protein requirement in the different regions and the explosion of modern food manufacturing plants in the past decade has made regular, daily price information and a technical presence in China absolutely essential. Our 20 years of experience in this region has stood us in good stead and we are currently one of the world’s largest private exporters of frozen poultry and pork to China and fully intend to maintain that position for the next decade.
The office has quickly become one of the busiest of all our offices and the growth in sales in mainland China since we opened has been significant. Lamex exports of frozen poultry, pork and beef to China from the EU, South America and the USA number several hundred containers each month and Lamex Foods China have established themselves as a leading procurement house for some of the world’s top processors.
