Lamex Foods Hong Kong was opened in the 1990’s to provide financial and logistics information for poultry, pork, beef, fruits and vegetables to the worldwide Group offices.
Used mainly as a Logistics office to facilitate imports into China, Lamex Hong Kong was the the central office throughout the 1990’s and in early 2000 for accumulating payments for Group exports. With the emergence of China as a direct importer, the logistics role has declined and this office now provides solely a financial service to other Group offices.
