In 1986, Lamex Foods Inc. opened in Bloomington, MN with a brief to assist it's EU counterparts in the procurement of US beef. The ensuing beef trade restrictions forced Lamex to refocus its expertise, quickly becoming one the country’s leading exporters of protein and foodstuffs, pairing North American Suppliers with the vast global network of Lamex customers.
Our primary products include Chicken, Turkey, Pork, Beef, Honey, Juice concentrates, ingredients, Fruits and Vegetables. While Lamex has firmly established its reputation as a diligent and efficient exporter of many of these products to over 50 different countries worldwide, we are also becoming equally recognized for importing many of these products from approved suppliers from around the world.
At Lamex Foods, our ethos is partnership. We strive to ensure that we provide our suppliers with sustainable outlets for their products and provide our customers with long term supply solutions. This often entails utilizing our in house, highly qualified technical team to carry out plant audits and on site Q/A programs with our partners. Together we are constantly creating new products, testing new markets and evaluating our strategy with our partners.
